Bombshell Letter Reveals Canadian Politician's Concerns Of Covert UFO Programs Involving Canada And Five Eyes Alliance
Written by Christopher Sharp - 20 June 2023
In a bombshell letter, Canadian politician Larry Maguire has urged Canada's Minister of National Defence to request a briefing which could verify that Canada and the Five Eyes intelligence alliance are involved in a secretive program concerning the recovery and exploitation of materials originating from Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).
The letter came into the possession of investigative journalists Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp, who premiered details on their podcast, titled WEAPONIZED.
In the letter, dated 22 March 2023, Maguire fervently urges Anita Anand to formally request a classified briefing on the alleged covert UAP efforts involving Canada, writing:
‘I am writing to recommend you request a classified briefing, containing full sensitive and protected program information from your officials on the Government of Canada’s historical and ongoing efforts on analyzing recovered UAP material.’
Maguire also writes that:
‘Recovered foreign material is studied through the Five Eyes Foreign Material Program (FMP) which, in Canada, is sponsored by the Canadian Forces Intelligence Command aligned with several intelligence sharing arrangements and treaties.’
The Five Eyes intelligence alliance, established in 1941, today comprises New Zealand, Canada, the USA, the United Kingdom, and Australia. In May 2023, Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, who leads the U.S. government's UAP Office (known as AARO), disclosed having conducted a meeting with the Five Eyes nations to discuss the subject of UAP.
As per Maguire and numerous sources known by Liberation Times, it has become evident that Five Eyes’ connection concerning UAP extends far beyond surface-level involvement.
However, it is another alliance that appears to concern Maguire: AUKUS, the trilateral security pact involving Australia, the United Kingdom, and the USA. According to Maguire, this alliance has the potential to unveil information originating from the Five Eyes Foreign Material program, posing a possible threat to Canada's credibility on the UAP subject.
Maguire writes:
‘I am concerned that expected upcoming public announcements will be coordinated between AUKUS, which could damage Canada’s credibility with our allies and the Canadian public on the global stage.’
Announced in 2021, AUKUS is a security pact in the Asia-Pacific region, widely regarded as an initiative aimed at countering China's influence.
The foundation of AUKUS rests upon facilitating the sharing of sensitive technology between the USA and the UK with Australia. This collaboration enables Australia to construct its inaugural fleet of nuclear-powered submarines as a strategic response to the growing Chinese threat.
Since its creation, cooperation has deepened between its members from an innovation perspective. Recently, the US Department of Defense requested funding for five new projects — collectively deemed the AUKUS Innovation Initiatives — to accelerate technology deployments.
Although not a member, Anand recently declared that Canada is “highly interested” in working closely on defence technology with AUKUS members after reports circulated that the country wants to join the defence pact.
The concern surrounding AUKUS and its implications for the UAP topic seems to have reached a critical point, prompting Maguire to strongly advise Canada's Minister of National Defence to undergo a classified briefing and develop a communications plan by May 2023 to effectively address this threat. The plan would specifically focus on mitigating what Maguire refers to as ‘upcoming public revelations that will stem from these American FMPs.’
In his letter, Maguire also singles out Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) which he asserts (as per the title of his letter) has participated in efforts to analyze UAP materials, which is traceable to circa 1950.
The DRDC is Canada’s version of America’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Founded in 1947, the DRDC’s purpose is to provide the Canadian Armed Forces, other government departments, and public safety and national security communities with knowledge and technology.
Pointing out the significance of the information contained within the letter, Jeremy Corbell told Liberation Times:
“The full and outright admission that Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) is in possession of recovered UAP material is a giant leap forward towards informing the global public on the reality of the UAP presence on planet Earth - whatever it might represent to humanity - which remains the open question.”
In the letter addressed to Anand, Maguire carbon copied the following officials:
Mélanie Joly - Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs
Omar Alghabra - Canada’s Minister of Transport
Dr. Mona Nemer - Canada’s Chief Scientist
Major General Michael Wright - Commander of Canadian Forces Intelligence Command Canadian Forces Intelligence Command
Speaking about the importance of copying in Major General Michael Wright, Jeremy Corbell told WEAPONIZED viewers:
“His name has been brought up to me for years now as somebody who was what they call a gatekeeper to this information.”
Corbell added:
“That feels like a warning shot.
“That individual knows about these exploitation programs that are coordinated through Five Eyes and with Canada. So putting that person on this as a cc (carbon copy) feels to me like a shot fired.”
Earlier this year, the Canadian government's top scientist launched a study of UAP known as the Sky Canada Project. In his communication to Anand, Maguire highlighted the essentiality of involving Canada's top scientist in the alleged secretive UAP efforts involving Canada, Maguire stated:
‘It is essential the Chief Science Advisor be given full access to defence programs and be briefed on the collaborative scientific research efforts with our allies.’
It remains uncertain whether Anand responded to Maguire's letter or if a communications plan has been devised subsequent to the recommended May 2023 deadline or whether Anand has taken the classified briefing.
Corbell informed Liberation Times that he conducted an independent verification, confirming the letter's authorship as Maguire and affirming its authenticity.
“I can finally say, for the first time in this publication, that I have absolute and direct confirmation that this urgent and groundbreaking letter by Mr. Larry Maguire M.P. is indeed exactly what it appears to be.”
Liberation Times understands that Maguire has engaged in discussions with multiple intelligence and defence officials who possess knowledge about UAP programs. These officials, being well-placed to have insights, have substantiated the details presented in the Anand letter.
Speaking about this, Corbell commented:
“He [Maguire] has met with firsthand direct program exploitation people, I know that for a fact that he has met with them.”
The discourse surrounding alleged covert recovery and retrieval programs involving potentially non-human intelligent crafts has intensified following the recent stunning disclosures made by former U.S. intelligence official David Grusch.
These allegations have sparked a significant debate, raising profound concerns about democratic oversight and government transparency concerning UAP matters if the claims made by Grusch and Maguire prove to be accurate.
As Maguire puts it in context to Canada, its democracy, its allies and public transparency:
‘There must be Parliamentary oversight of efforts by government institutions, and responsible Ministers should be fully briefed on this program, including releasable-to-the-public content that aligns with allied public disclosures.’
If proven to be true, the allegations made by Maguire are undeniably astonishing and carry significant implications. At a time when the world is already grappling with allegations of a potential covert American program centred around non-human crafts, Canada’s alleged involvement adds another layer of complexity to the situation.
Furthermore, Maguire’s allegations implicate not only Canada and the USA but also the other three Five Eyes nations: New Zealand, the UK, and Australia.
What makes this even more astounding is Maguire's suggestion that significant UAP revelations may soon emerge from AUKUS. As of now, Australia and the UK refuse to acknowledge that the Five Eyes even discussed UAP, despite public confirmation by Canada, New Zealand, and the US.
